Connerly & Associates, Inc. maintains a full-time staff of association management professionals. Our association management division provides associations with an extensive list of services and benefits, including:

Board Liaison

• Execute decisions of the Board, and provide support and assistance to Board

• Coordinate Board and Committee Meetings

Administration

• Staffing to conduct all necessary office, administrative, and clerical operations

• Administrative services including record keeping, filing of all correspondence, documents, and statistical materials, including storage and regular backup of electronic files

• Set up and maintain membership database through premier association management software

• Maintain database of sponsors and/or industry partners

Membership and Sponsorship Growth & Retention

• Coordinate client programs and services

• Seek and present to Board programs and partnership opportunities with potential for increased association revenue, reduced expenses, enhanced benefits for Members, or potential association sponsorships

• Develop and implement regular and consistent membership and sponsorship recruitment campaigns

• Interact and communicate with existing industry partners and sponsors on regular basis to maintain productive industry partner relationships

• Work with Board to develop new industry partner and sponsor relationships, and provide an effective program for sponsors and association

• Maintain adequate supply of marketing materials to respond to membership and sponsorship inquiries

Meeting Management

• Support with contract negotiation with third-party vendors for meetings and educational events, operations of meetings and events, registration and check-in at meetings and collection of appropriate monies, and maintaining up-to-date calendar of events and ensure up-to-date information
regarding calendar of events is maintained on website

• Support for delivery of online educational content (e.g., webinars)

Communications Management

• Support for website content and operation, membership database maintenance, social media accounts, emails communication

• Develop and update literature and marketing materials as needed

Public Relations

• Serve as spokesperson for association in consultation and cooperation with the association

Accounting

• Maintain accurate books and records in accordance with the practices currently followed by association or other practices

• Reconcile financials of all meetings

• Provide materials necessary for preparation of tax returns to tax preparer and oversee preparation of tax returns

• In cooperation with Board, create annual budget, manage budget throughout the year, and provide monthly comparison of budget versus actual

Storage

• Secure storage of all legal and historical files and documents
